Kuzma has been deeply engaged in corporate security issues for more than 15 years. Also, he focuses on investment protection; advising on and settling the most sophisticated corporate conflicts; protecting businesses from illegal pressure by regulatory and law enforcement agencies; interacting with public authorities on complex issues of doing business in Ukraine; counteracting attempted raider seizures of businesses and assets of LBASE clients.
Kuzma is an expert in advising on complex infrastructure projects and resolving regulatory issues with public authorities and local governments; he advises and defends clients operating in various industries, including aviation, agroindustry, banking, FMCG, and insurance sectors, in complex legal proceedings.
Also, Kuzma has substantial experience in advising on complex M&A projects across various industries, auditing corporate, regulatory, labor, and other compliance documents of the companies representing various industries, providing comprehensive advice on corporate, labor, land, and real estate issues, as well as drafting and implementing various compliance policies.
Before co-founding LBASE, Kuzma was a senior associate and a key attorney of the dispute resolution and white-collar defense team at a major Ukrainian law firm.
