LBASE SUCCESSFULLY DEFENDED A CLIENT’S INTERESTS IN A UAH 17 MILLION DISPUTE

The LBASE team successfully defended the interests of an agricultural enterprise in court against unlawfully accrued penalties and annual interest claimed by an agri-trader in the amount of UAH 9.5 million, as well as an alleged debt of approximately UAH 7.5 million.

We developed and effectively implemented a robust defence strategy in court proceedings and conducted efficient negotiations with the counterparty regarding the amicable settlement of the dispute. As a result, a settlement agreement was concluded on terms favorable to the Client.

Thanks to the coordinated efforts of our team, the agri-trader’s penalties and annual interest were reduced by approximately UAH 7 million (which represents 74% of the total amount), and we secured the Client’s ability to pay the remaining principal debt in installments under terms proposed by the Client.
