TAX AUDITS 2026: WHAT SHOULD BUSINESSES EXPECT?

During the session, the following topics were covered:

 – criteria used to select businesses for audits

 – the role of analytics and risk profiling

 – common mistakes businesses make during audits

 – the involvement of security and compliance teams in tax cases

Special emphasis was placed on the fact that effective preparation for audits is not about formal “paper compliance,” but about a genuine understanding of tax authorities’ practices and proactive risk management.
