PROBLEMATIC ISSUES OF SQUEEZE-OUT IN UKRAINE AND WAYS TO RESOLVE THEM

Today, LBASE Co-Managing Partner Vladyslav Zhabskyi took part in a round table discussion titled “Key Issues of Squeeze-Out in Ukraine and Ways to Address Them”, organized by the Federation of Employers of Ukraine.

The discussion brought together representatives of the business community, the Supreme Court, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the State Property Fund of Ukraine, industry associations, valuation experts, and practicing attorneys.

The discussion focused on one of the core challenges of squeeze-out procedures in Ukraine — the determination of the fair value of shares and the growing number of disputes with minority shareholders.

In his remarks, the speaker emphasized the importance of preventive legal actions by businesses before court claims arise, as an effective way to strengthen legal positions and minimize financial risks.
