Interaction with government agencies (GR)

A considerable hands-on experience of individual team members occupying positions of public responsibility in the government agencies and local self-government as well as in reputable non-governmental organizations dealing with the protection of business in Ukraine, zero tolerance for corruption in synergy with a wide range of business contacts, in-depth expertise, and rule-making practices make our team an aggressive advocate of business interest in relationships with regulatory bodies.

The main activities of the LBASE team in this field include:

• mediation and resolution of conflicts with public, state, and local authorities of different levels;
• establishing an efficient and transparent dialogue with the government and local authorities at various levels;
• developing and implementing an efficient, transparent, and compliance-oriented strategy for working with government and local authorities;
• participating in drafting legal and regulatory acts;
• analysis of the impact of regulatory acts on the clients’ business activities, bringing their activities in line with the statutory requirements (building up a reliable compliance system);
• anti-corruption compliance audit;
• initiating a review of normative acts in a relevant area in terms of corruption risks;
• privatization;
• public-private partnership;
• representing clients' interests in disputes with state authorities and local self-government.
